okay, what should you aim for when designing a mobile phone website?
I'm thinking avoid contact forms as they're too big. typing in an email using your phone can be difficult and expensive. shoudl you just go for an autoresponder box or a very small form to gather leads? the customer enters their email and then you reply to their regular email address? it'd be quicker and cheaper to enter on a phone. but the sale would obviously take longer.

What is the goal of the website you are trying to design?
The only way for people to leave you with their contact info would be for them to enter it in a form. I don't think that there is a way around this.

You need to keep your text short and concise. People won't read massive long articles etc on mobile phone screens for example - mainly because they take forever to load and even longer to read because of the limited screen space.
Really mobile phone sites should be more service oriented rather than information based.
i.e. locate a cinema rather than read about the history of cinema.
