i make some pretty nice images and graphics in adobe photoshop 5, when finished i flatten the image and save as a .jpeg....then i go to paint open it in there to make the image smaller.....

once done with this i save as a jpg, and suddenly the image becomes burnt, you know where ends of the image look blurred, and so on....

what am i doing wrong?

thanks in advance

I'm wondering why you resize them in Paint instead of Photoshop.

well in photoshop whenever i post directly from photoshop to the web, the background is to large.....

say i have a blue image that says shadow....
there will be the image, along with white full page background behind it....so in paint i decrease the image size to jus display the image and a lil background....

Why don't you just use the crop tool in photoshop?
