I'm looking to build a site that is similar in concept to addall.com which in short searches multiple sites (around 30 total) to find the cheapest price for a book or cd. I'm curious as to whether there is a tool that does this easily, or will I have to set up a connection to each site's database, or if anyone has a suggestion on how I might pull this off in a timely (3 months or less) manner.

Thanx in advance.

i think the likes of kelkoo.com etc all have their own database, which gets updated by the owners of the sites they're comparing.

I'm sure most online stores will be able to provide you their database in either excell or flat file format, or some even give you direct access using things like SOAP... (i know amazon do!).

So get the databases, maniplulate the data to work with your site, and your away! Failing that your gonna need a team of data entry clerks to do all the boring stuff for you!
