Hi,

I have very little experience with PHP and none with SQL but I have to build a form that will upload the data to a database so it can be dowloaded by CSV. I have built e-mail forms before, but haven't got a clue where to start with this.

Any help would be very greatfully received.

Forms and databases are tricky, and even dangerous if you are on a shared server. I avoid the hassle and use a service called Wufoo - a silly name for an excellent and widely used form builder and host.

I suggest taking a look and playing with it. You get three forms for free.

If you have a google acount you can make one through the google docs engine.

It will export the form to a spreadsheet and than you can download that in several formats.

There are no limits on the number of forms and there are many options.
You'll have to play with it like Wufoo and pick one.
