im tryin to build a simple website where visitors submit events (ents24.com) should i attempt doin this myself even though ive neverdone anything to do with databases??

Really depends on how confident you are on your programming skills. If you are pretty good, moving into something new like a database won't be that hard.

For events though, I'm sure you can probably find somehting already written that will save you time. If nothing else, to look at study the code to get ideas on how to write your own.

Hummm if you plan to be a super programmer someday then try this yourself. Bcoz first projects are always small.

If you get it done by someone else then when will you learn how to program and for each and every thing you will have to depend on others. (Like me)
