My way to get new posts

Greetings Smiling

I've been using this way to get to the 'new posts' part of the site quicker than going to webmaster-forums.net and then clicking on "View New Posts"
You can't bookmark the URL once you click it or you'll keep getting all the same results + new posts...
So, make a new bookmark, and in the URL section, put in http://www.webmaster-forums.net/search.php?s=&action=getnew
That way, you just go quickly to the new posts page, and you don't have to search through all the forums for the post you are looking for

Just a quick tip!

Hey, thanks for that. This'll be much quicker for me — I hate having to wait for webmaster-forums.net to load, and then click View New Posts, then wait some more. Smiling

Abhi feed your hamster thats running your modem Wink
I'm connected at 115200 bps (56k)
I have no problem coming in the front page and going thru each topic, sometimes I speed to long on one post and loose all the new marked topics, then I go to the todays posts button

I tend to come in through the main forum I'm responsible for, then back to the main page and hit each forum specifically.

I have the forum linked from my blog so I can just go there and click to where I want to be.

Long live dynamic websites!

I like to come through the main page and see "who is online" first. Laughing out loud

I go to the main page, then click the new threads link. From there, I SHIFT+CLICK the threads I want to read. It opens them a new window. Smiling

I do that too. But 25+ iexplore instances kills processor. Sad

I have as my home page the 'View Today's Active Topics' link

I usually just come in through the home page and scroll down to see where there are new topics and who's here. I just like to kill some time this way, rather than going to the new posts link most of the time Smiling (because I'm a procrastinator, you know)

Wow, you must be really tallented. I can only read/reply to one thread at a time. Wink

So why did you let him go into our padded cell? Laughing out loud

Anyway: I always come in and click 'view new posts' so thanx for the tip, nike_guy_man!

I usually just scroll through the whole forum looking for new post indicators. That allows me the option of jumping in on previous threads that I may not have gotten around to.

I hate clicking through each one at a time. Prefer to SHIFT+click 20 times. By the time hit the last one, the first few will have loaded, so I can quickly go through each. Wink
