Well, I can't blame people for posting them there as that is the appropriate place to put them according to the forum description. I personally think all domain discussion should go in the Web Hosting forum and offers remain in the Domain forum, but that will be dealt with shortly in our ongoing reorganization project.
If you want more domain discussion, feel free to create a new thread - it's the users that make the wheels here spin.

just look at all (not) the replies in the "domain name discussion" (that's the title) section of the forum, not much discussing going on in there.
i personally don't want to start any topic in that section of the forum that would get any replies (discussion), because that would just lead to those domain for sale offers getting more eyeballs, which would lead to more domain for sale offers.
