Incomplete pages...
Don't know if anyone else has this problem but, the pages here on TWF don't seem to finish downloading, the icon in firefox and the status bar at the bottom tells me so
Is any one else experiencing neverending TWF page downloads?

Not according to Opera!
We would of course take something like this very seriously, so if anyone else is getting the effects Renegade mentions, mention it now so we can fix it!
Is Firefox telling you anything else, like what it's trying to download and from where exactly?
The only thing that seems to lag is the ads stuff. This would be the first thing that springs to mind, and the one thing that's bloomin' hard to fix - can't switch off a service people are paying for!

In the status bar in firefox it says Waiting for webmaster-forums.net...
I don't think this is a one off problem, I see it a lot in FF on different sites, always sites with banners or 3rd party scripts.

The problem seems to have fixed itself.
I was browsing TWF at work yesterday and didn't think too much of it until I got the same thing when I got home.
I'll keep you posted if it happens again.

Well thanks for alerting us to it Renegade, I'm thinking along the same lines as Busy regarding the cause.
Not sure what we could do to fix it, but if this continues we'll have to investigate.

PS. on busy's theory, i was thinking along same lines, like a slow connection to a counter image that may be on the site. However you state it says "Waiting for www.webmaster-forums.net..."
When I go to cnn.com, today it is loading slow for me, but at the bottom, it says "Waiting for i.cnn.com" (the server holding mages for the site.
So it looks like the holdup i proabbly with the TWF connection, not 3rd party? Maybe the way FF grabs images, it was opening too many streams to the server and choked?
Who knows. Will watch for this to happen in the future.

maybe if youre on the same area, a choke on the pipeline could hove done this....
