Boards are getting slower
Is it just me or is this site slowing to a crawl alot lately. I don't beleive its me, when it is slow here I have tested to other sites to see if my connection has slowed, and it was fine. I have a fat pipe here at work and never have a problem with any site but this one.
The extent and frequency of this is getting to a point that I may stop comming here. I'd say not only is it everyday but also about 85% of the time. For instance, I type the home url into my browser and the top banner shows but it takes as long as 2 min.'s to load the rest (no exageration). Same with clicking any other link for that matter. I run on a Win2000pro, 256Mg Ram, 3D Rage Pro AGP, IE6, 1152x864 Res., True Color.

I have no problems at all with speed of loading, opens very quickly. Is this the only site you are experiencing this with?

I'm having a few problems once in awhile, but usually the pages are loading within 8 seconds, most of the time within 3 sec. (on a T1 - handly little loading timer Opera has!)

It looks like there is a problem in a router on the way to TWF. That's what the pretty asterisks are (timeouts, lost packets, hiccups, delays, blah blah). If you come here through a different route, you will not get stuck at that hop, which explains the difference. I have only today noticed that it's hard to get to TWF -- but nothing like two minutes.

Notice I'm routed through sprintlink and you are routed through ATT.
Obviously (to me), there is a problem with ATT and some of the hops before that -- the 200ms ones, for instance.
Those are some strange tracert responses, btw. did you edit them?

BTW Numpty is an northern england word meaning "Someone who has a lot to learn" At least thats the clean definition of the word
