It just struck me that when using the 'Who's Online' that it's funny when you see someone else showing up there as looking at the 'Who's Online' page as it's really the only time you know when someone is on the same page as you and you kind of want to say hello to them.
Probably just me needing the padded cell right now!!

I was thinking that too. In fact, the only person I've ever seen in WO at the same time as myself is you, Julia.
Maybe we should get a shoutbox or something? One of those mini chat things...

Yeah, it always seems funny not to be able to say hello

It would be a cool thing to have, but I could see myself getting totally distracted from work in the process... although my co-workers seem to have MSN messenger going a lot so maybe it wouldn't be too bad...

Maybe we should just all move to Canada and then we can have good old fashioned coffee morning meetings and say Hi in person!

I have a lovely coffee maker, but he's started work again, so you'll have to put up with my coffee (bring something to dilute it!)...
I do love the idea of having a coffee with the lot of you.

Yeah wouldn't it be good to meet up! The forum my husband is a moderator on do all meet up every year for a pub-conference, they have it in London, and it is very well attended with members coming along from all over the world and they also have guest speakers from search engine companies, etc. Although he has never been because we've always had other things planned at the same time!
I've just bought a nice coffee maker, makes excellent filter coffe, espresso, irish coffee or cappuccino

My coffee maker also makes dinner, but I don't think I could convince him to do specialty drinks... *chortle*
We could have a virtual meeting, with physical meetings in central locations, like eastern North America, central, western, Europe, NZ/Aus, et cetera, then webcam it.
