Of those in syndication: Friends and Roseanne
Of those still on: I love reality TV, so I watch a lot of Survivor, Big Brother, American Idol, and a lot of those different shows on MTV, VH1, and E!, although sometimes I regret how much TV I watch, but it's right by my computer! Smiling

Doctor Who is my all time favourite. I don't watch much TV, but make time for that when it's on. Can't wait for the Christmas special. I miss the old WB shows... Buffy, Charmed, Angel. Loved them all. Smallville I'm about 2 seasons behind on watching. Got kinda bored with it after a while. Heros season 1 was awesome. Haven't watched 2 yet. I don't get a lot of TV time.

I'd say House is my favourite right now. Liam and I usually sit down to watch it every week - good time to spend together Smiling I also watch Project Runway (really annoyed at result of Canadian show last night) and Relocation Relocation/Location Location Location (I like British real estate shows - makes me wonder about where we'd be living if I'd gone to England instead. Of course, if we were there we wouldn't be able to afford a house!). I also sometimes watch Holmes on Holmes - a Canadian show about a home improvement guy who goes around and fixes other contractors shoddy jobs. As a web designer, I can relate Smiling

Liam and I also get a lot of British shows on DVD from our online video rental site. We've been watching a lot of Blackadder and Fawlty Towers. And I get Felicity DVD's from them too, but of course Liam doesn't watch that.

Other than that I watch a lot of 80's reruns. Like Family Ties. I was excited when that came back on. And 90210. Right, that's the embarassing one. Or Fame, Liam got me Fame DVD's for my birthday last year Smiling

I find that it's really important for me to do relaxing, mindless things sometimes and television is one of those. Otherwise I'd go crazy thinking about web development all the time. This is a particular problem for me because my husband is also a developer so we spend our dinner conversations talking about programming or the latest Microsoft lawsuit and things like that. Also, I don't sleep well if I'm too active before bed, either mentally or physically.

At the moment I've been really enjoying true crime shows. The truth is often stranger than fiction, as they say - particularly when it comes to criminal behavior. Seeing what crims get up to and how the cops catch them is truly fascinating.

There are 3 shows in this genre that really standout. Two of them are Australian, so most of the members of this forum will probably find them very difficult to see. They are Gangs of Oz and also Forensic Investigators.

There's one US show that's also fantastic - The First 48.
