I am here in Pakistan . i want to buy a xyz.co.uk Domain . can I buy a UK domain while paying here or hosting here in pakistan ?

I have some good domain names that are available and I am not planning to use them for anything (for the most part, maybe 1 out of 6). I was reading that it is not a very good idea, but other people say they made some substantial amounts of money.
I am not talking about some random names, but names that look like that should have been taken and worth quite a lot. Would you just register and go to sedo.com (or maybe somewhere else, where?)

Has anyone been involved in backorder domains.

From what I understand the domain could be available if the current registrant doesn't
extend and then it goes to auction. I assume that if a certain domain goes to auction the price could go right up but I do get annoyed when I search a domain and it reads that it might be available on back order - either it is available or it isn't.

If anyone has any experience with this I'd love to hear it.

I agree that having a website needs to have a hosting, it could be free or paid hosting. Also, there are lots (I mean LOTS) of hosting companies worldwide and you just have to google them and check their service.

Can you recommend some good web hosting reviews? In my case, I find some reviews really helpful, in fact it helps me to decide on which host is more compatible for me.
