Hello everyone,
We asked our golf equipment website webmaster to apply a Christmas decoration to the site, see the image above for what he came up with. I think it seem a bit over the top but its fantastic, most of our customers like it as well.

If you are a golf fan, you can find out Christmas golf equipment offer on the Christmas Golf offer page
Please lets have you thoughts on the decoration
Cheers

it is a "lovely" theme, and does not interfere with the actual catalog, which is a good thing
Happy (and prosperous) Holidays!

It is a bit busy. I think it would be better if there was only one bunch of trees or if they were spaced further apart.
Also, make sure the shades of green used in the design match. Your regular greeen is more blue-ish while the trees are more yellow-ish. I talk about this under Monochromatic colour schemes in my article on how to create colour schemes.
I'm getting ready to put some holiday graphics up on this site and I had to make sure to adjust the green in the trees to match the shade of green we're using on the site.
The special offers page isn't displaying correctly in my browser (Opera 9/Linux). The logo is higher up and has a light blue background and the green bar is displaying in the middle of the tree pictures not below it

Ahh - a real designer sees things us mortals don't
Ahh, but aren't your trees more greenish than the theme's yellow-green? Does that matter?
so I designed my own business card at VistaPrint - and when it arrived, I saw the blues don't match... errr

The christmas tree at the top is exactly the same hue as the yellow-green bar. The palm tree didn't look right that way so it's a tiny bit different. THe background tree is obviously different to give the illustration a bit more depth.

The second one that's sort of in behind. It's a bit more blue-ish.
