How can I add a feature to show who is online to my homepage?

I have a forum and I want to know the code where I can put it on my homepage. I want it to have who is online and newest threads. For those who dont know what I am looking for here is an example:

Latest Threads:

It doesnt have to be exactly like this feature, but something to that efftect. I appreciate any help!

best bet might be to go to the forums web site and look for a hack (add on) for it as most forums have all this stuff and more.

You can also do it without a forum. That tutorial may help you integrate the concept yourself if your particular forums don't have that hack.

It's a fairly common hack, though, so as Busy said, check with the website for your forum software.
