I would like to ask you something. Do you think that a very good developer can develop site of Friendster type, but only for capacity 1 mio users within 2 months? How much time do you think that king of site need to be developed?
Concept would, mock ups, text and design would be prepared before he start.
It seems very easy site. Where can be doubts and problems?
Thank you!

it would depend on whether he was working full or part time and how good a developer he was. Also depends on how good the specification is. If you gave him every feature he needed to do in detail it would be a lot easier as he's doing less planning and more programming.
It also depends on how good and how dedicated he was - I know developers that could do it in weeks if they were fired up about the project.

andy206uk is very right - but theres a VERY key element that ANY developer would ask - how much would they get for the project.
You pay the right developer 2 months is MORE then enough time.
