i'd like to set up some scripts on a server (apache) running with win NT (not my fault... Wink ). now i have to chmod the files but: i can't use ftp because the server's inside a firewall. does anyone know, how exactly i have to do this? (for example chmod to 777, where do i have to change what?)
thanks for your help...

To the best of my knowledge, you don't have to chmod the files. Chmod is only a feature common to the *nix operating systems.

Everyone here has a website. It's just that not all are worth posting (Mine! Smiling).

Rich is right, NT does niot need chmoding, it chmods itself i think.

I know for sure you don't have to CHMOD in NT. It does it automatically...

Does anyone know how to install vBulletin or Ultimate Bulletin Board on a NT server? I've had three or so people say they know how, but once they get to it, they run into problems and quit. I plan to switch to a UNIX server in the future, but I'd love to have one of these now. Thanks!
