Hi. I am testing some new applications out for my father. I am getting him used to using Joomla CMS. I have set up a local server using WAMP. Whenevr I try to use the remember password feature, it says an email has been sent to the email I used during installation (root@localhost). What free mail server program can I use to to read emails sent to localhost? remeber I am not too saavy. Any suggestions?

I don't think you can receive mail on localhost (your pc), is weird as the web server is always configured to localhost.
I take it it's using the PHP mail function
<?bhb if(broken){ echo("It wasn't me
"); } ?>

Alias root@localhost to your email address.

Yes, it is using PHP send mail function. So if I ask it to send to my email instead of root@localhost it will send?
