well, you could check the apache log, and see where it's being referred from. Or you cound add php includes of some sort of tracking script, and see what the referrals are. Could also do that with Javascript.
I am not sure if there is a way to stop 301/302 redirection, you could try making an htaccess to deny from any host other than your own, like how some sites prevent hotlinking of images.
