My site shifted PR 1 to PR 3...
anybody get update in their site?

I just noticed that my pr of my sites went up from pr1 to pr 3, But other's stay the same, I don't care much of my pr site, SERP is more important to me,But if you can have them both, why not..

I found updated PR .. now very happy bcz Google updating monthly and weekly updating BL.. So now getting immediat result for the SEos efforts....

Yes i have seen there has been a slight update in PR for many sites. But i didn't have any changes in my PR.All of my sites having their PR same as it was.

yes i have got updation but in negative way.my website lost 1 pr.so it is true that google has updated pr.but for other website i got +2 pr so it is ok with me

I noticed that recently my sites have gained a little more PR from Google.
1 > 3
1 > 2
0 > 2
0 > 1
I think that is always good.

On the day of the update my site was getting 24,000 page views, yesterday, 10 days later, I'm down to 1,690 page views.
Is this linked to the update in any way coz I haven't changed anything else on my site?

PR updates now more frequent. Almost every month and I noticed always happen on the end of the month or at least the first on the month. Now happen 24 June, on the next may be end of July or first of August.

You could try using some clean white hat tactics to promote the site on other blogs and sites. Friendly follow links etc
I.E. don't just visit forums and sites/blogs etc and spam your site link there as many people report the site for spam, and eventually it will catch up with you and get you penalised.
That said, PR doesn't really have much value other than as a selling point for the site, or for SEO sites of course.
Have a forum search on PR and you'll find some info on how to get the PR back up, and why it's not really worth the effort.
Signature links on this forum are NO-follow! - This means spam is futile!

PageRank can be very useful if you know how to leverage the PR of other sites.
