The link took me to a page where it said: 'Your Sitemap submission was not successful'

Did I do something wrong, or is this some kind of joke?

well -- talking about sitemaps --

does anybody know of a good way to generate a sitemap for a medium sized membership site (34000 members) whose profile urls end in their user_id numbers BUT can filter out junk profiles (ie ones blank with {username} template tokens) or repeated profiles (members span 4 different urls/sites - but don't always make a profile with a picture on all four - I just want the profiles with images! - the other urls will produce their profile text with no picture)

I used autositemap (I just spotted a typo in their Google listing argh!) from SourceForge but it just cranks out sequential urls, no "smart" filtering and submitting such a mess would probably hurt rankings not help!
