Can anyone suggest a simple tool or method that would quickly tell me which results page (if any) we are on for a particular keyword day to day?
It becomes a long process to check manually to get the SE position daily. Moreover one has to note down the search results. If there is any tool to get the Search Engine results with all these features, it could be very helpfu.
Any help would be awesome! and thanks in advance.

You can go to seochat.com and use the tool on S.E keyword position. This shows your site's keyword position in google, yahoo and msn for the day. All that you have to do is enter your url and the keyword you are trying to rank for and presto...

the recommended method by google is:
http://www.google.com/ie?q=keyword&num=100&hl=en&lr=&btnG=Search
this gives hundred results at a time with only page titles so its quicker and doesnt hog google's bandwidth as much as any other 3rd party tools.

there is no free script available as of now.. but you can add those tools to your site by using the script that is provided on that site.
