hia dude.

First its a nicely laid out site you have.

but a few things to consider.

1. Reduce the length of your title. it goes on a bit
2. your pages are 101k each. This means that people on 56k will probaly give up after viewing a few pages.
3. Link exchange. I dont care what people think I didn't get my site to the top of google by ignoring links. They do work although they can be time consuming.

In the last 2 years of webmastering i haven't spent a penny on promotion. just linking and spreading the word on signatures like the on below. There are many free promo systems and link systems around so just keep at it, and persist, and the visitors will come.

Give me a shout if you need persifics..

First, do some keyword research and decide what key-phrase you are targeting for each page.

Second, optimize each page for the individual key-phrases.

Third, don't use the same title for each page (use a unique title) and use your targeted key-phrase in the title (at the beginning).

Fourth, gather some back links with your targeted key-phrases in the anchor text.

This should get you well on your way to more popularity.

THese are interesting but can you give an example of this? how to you optimize each page for the individual key-phrases.

Here is an article about search engines:

Possibly try and run some specials. Free shipping, buy one get one half off, etc.
Look at your competetions site and think... what do they have that I don't?
Hard work. Your site looks really good.

I have to disagree with most of the posts to help you out, I disagree almost completely.

You are a business and need to treat it like one.

First some basics before we get to making money.

I do not know who you actual credit card merchant is, but to checkout I had to be a member...and give you everything before I could buy.... which I did not do.

I would make it optional and go to the merchant, if the merchant requires an account (like paypal does, drop them and go to 2checkout.com or the like)..or get a real merchant account (somewhat expensive)

Now- your site, tags, titles, etc, are fine....no biggie and it ain't gonna bring you anyone, your business is about content and product no matter what anyone else says....

To bring people

1) Referral program for webmasters (link/click and buy and they get money)
You pay them to advertise and all those sites link back to you......
You just put yourself in a position to make money and got a high ranking.....

2) Usual stuff like google adwords might bring you one or two buyers.

3) Advertise on popular sites (which are surprisingly cheap..)
Places like fark.com which, when a link goes on there, the site crashes from the clickthoughs!!! Cost- starts at ten bucks for a text ad.....
Many sites like this are out there....use them, the more you advertise the more you make.

4) Add a forum or somekind of people keeper- the forums are free and easy to install and over time people add up... make it about your industry but add current events sections....

5) Newsletter- opt-in and opt-out availablity... over the years people will join and tell others....and become loyal.

The newsletter can go to anyone who has bought to (hey, what was the name of that site I bought the last card from....hmm, oh yea, here is their newsletter..... Wink )

I would also join webrings that belong to your industry and/or start some...
Not for rankigs, but to find other webmasters....in your industry.

The fact is many who you meet will be out of business in less than a year. By being friendly and helping them out or just chatting, you can get their customers, website, and so much more when they fold because you are friends...and he will come back and chat on your forum and maybe buy from you too.

Go to any forum that deals with your industry and talk to people, do not try to sellyour site, just talk... in time people will drift to you.

By advertising that is effective and do not stop.....or your income will stop.

Spending time with search engine optimizaion is a big waste as the ranking will come in time anyway...and you want it to come from your industry linking, not tricks and exchanges....because that makes your ranking high in your industry which is all that is important...

As for teh ranking on this site, it is 3 or 10. Typing in 'forums' in google I could not find it....

BUT.... int he industry of webmastering....... typing in webmaster forums, the site is 3rd..... in google... but "website forums" does nto bring it up.

Concentrating on keywords is insane as people put int he damndest things that make no sense and bring people to you....

Instead of the focus of cards, why not make a protal of activity where you have cardsa s the advertisiment and in a special section.

A lot of people come here, imagine if they sold something on the side bar....nothing to do with forums, heck it could be calling cards...and we all would see the ads all the time....

Good Luck and do not give up...it can take two years before you are solid in an online business..... longevity is your best ally.
