Phillip,

You might be interested to know that PR doesn't play a huge role in actual search rankings. The main reason why some people need higher PR is if they're trying to sell advertising. In that case advertisers may be looking at that as a way to measure the value of purchasing advertising on your site.

Otherwise, you should be focussing on search rankings (often called SERPs) rather than PR. PR is often not a good measure of a site's actual search rankings.

For your site, you should do some keyword research to find out what phrases would be useful to target. You probably don't want to target "wedding photography" right now (too competitive). Instead, focus on your local geographic area. I see you have UK mentioned in your footer - you might want to narrow that down even further. A bride is probably going to be searching for something in her local area.

Also work on getting a little more text in to your pages. Make sure it's human friendly. Also work on your page title tags. These are really important for SEO. You've done a good job on the home page title but the rest of the pages could use work.

The other really important factor in SEO is link building. Work on getting other sites to link to you. You could try local directories or partnering with other local sites. Low quality methods like the previous poster mentioned could be somewhat useful but, as with anything cheap and easy, it's not going to get you very far. In order to get other sites to link to you you could consider writing a blog. Write about things people may be interested in about photography - how to take better wedding photos

I would have to agree with Megan. Your main concern should be optimizing on keywords (SERP) rather than PR. It's all about link building. Focus on this while using your keywords as anchor texts and you will achieve your goals faster. Best of luck Wink

Search engines don't really look at meta keywords - they might use them for figuring out the topic of your site and things like that but not for rankings.

The keyword spam at the bottom of the home page may have something to do with why you dropped.

If things don't improve you might want to file a re-inclusion request at Google. Look in their webmaster help for more on that. Or ask in their webmaster forum if there are other reasons why you've been dropped. I didn't look at your backlinks but there could be problems there.

Philip, if you really want to improve your PR - build quality links with high PR sites relevant to your niche and submit your sites to high PR directories. Building PR does add value to your site especially if you are selling ad spaces or text links.

Hi, PR is not that important anyway especially from the web ranking point of view, but you can increase your site's PR by adding more one way links to your pages.

Work on your META keywords and Title Keywords. It's ok to repeat important words. Target high page rank sites and find a way to put links on their site to your own site.
