Dmoz adds sites after they are reviewed by people. They are looking for content and ease of use as some of the criteria for inclusion. Many articles have been written regarding getting "in" with Dmoz. Some big points they will leave you out of the inclusion is

No address phone number etc on a contact or about us page.
Incorrect spelling, or bad grammar on the site.

Unfortunately yours is guilty of not having the above two bases covered.

Check your spelling, grammar and contact info, update it and make sure you have enough content on the site to make it worth while for them to list you.

No one is perfect but try your best and you will see results. I have followed the above basics and all of my sites are listed on Dmoz within a month or so.

I would suggest, if you have the time, to ask to become and editor, this is what I did for a while. I was able to submit my site, and help out.

It does take time, I lost my Editorship and have only just re-applied.
