Ok just a quick question
I need to do a massive link campaign for me new website well when its up and running
The website will be a dating theme will I need to link just to dating websites or can I link to other ones if so how much of the subject can I go
Also most of my competitors have around 1000-3000 links
How many I month should I aim for before Google etc which class this as spam
What page rank sites will I need to get ( if I link up to a 1000 page rank 7 sites this will look like spam ive been told)
Also my website designer said from the start I should get a page rank 7 website to link up to me as this will mean Google will index my site every 48hours

I would suggest starting by submitting your site to a large number of free directories. That will help. If you want to exchange links, I would stick to on-topic, quality links only. You are going to need to do a good amount of link building since there is a lot of competition with online dating sites, but you probably already know that. I think that a new site getting 1,000 pr7 links would seem suspicious to me, but I don't think anyone really knows how search engines will view it. It is anyones guess.
