Help with dropped from Google

I have also dropped from Google

I had my website http://www.cakesbyann.co.uk on the first and second pages on Google and other related search engines for over seven months, when without any indication it dropped.

I was second out of 3.7 million for the search term "Cakes" and about 11 for "Wedding cakes", I was also No 1 for "Wedding cakes UK"

I realise that Google has expanded its index but all my competitors who were below me are all still there.

I have tried to perfect my website by optimizing but when I check my competitors websites, as I always do, In my opinion their websites need some work but they still rank above mine.

May I also say that nothing has changed on their websites for months and the content is still the same.

I would appreciate some help with this before changing all my website and getting nowhere.

hia your site hasn't been dropped by google nor has its ranking dropped

It could happen when Google grabs your website again and is updating its databases. It has to update index database first and then content database. You site could be temporary unavailable in one of the databases so you could not search it. But a few hours or a day later, it will be back. Be patient. Smiling
