Google sandbox / blacklisted site

Hey guys, the following website seems to be in Google's sandbox or be blacklisted. It's been online for long enough to be indexed. And it has been indexed ok, but it is not ranking at all. Search for a full para of text from the site and it doesn't appear in the SERPs. Can anyone run a healthcheck or see any reason why this is so???

Is it in the supplemntal index for duplicate content? If so, Google only holds a summary of each page and not each word. Paragraphs of text will NOT show up.

I've not actually used it myself for one of our sites - fingers crossed I've never been banned - but the following site might be useful to you: http://www.searchenginegenie.com/google-banned-site-checker.php When I ran your site past this tool it said it is not banned in Google. Maybe the supplemental??

A couple of problems I notice:

  1. the site has no PR. It's not even 0, it's blank (that's an indicator that something is wrong). Work on getting some better linkbacks and this should improve.
  2. a lot of pages have very little content. Google might think th>ere's nothing here.
  3. Javascript menus won't be followed by search engines. Seems like your pages are accessible without it but this could still be causing problems.
  4. title tag format is incorrect - the title should start with the name of the page, then some keywords and your business name. Not the other way around. Search engines only index about 65 characters in the title tag so they're probably cutting off before they get to the name of the page. This + #2 above is probaby your biggest problem.

How did you get along with this, did you find a tool which correctly could tell you if it was banned or not? Sometimes tools return incorrect if there's no backlinks on Google search. type in: link:websiteurl.com
