Does anyone know of a site that can show a history of google page rank over time? Or is it necessary to record them daily?
I am trying to fill in the gaps of stats that I have recorded and cannot find any retrospective ranks...
Thanks in advance

I'm not sure, but you certainly wouldn't have to record them daily. Only when the PR updates happen and you'll find out about that by reading SEO sites. There's usually an uproar whenever they roll out.

Oh, sorry I'm not explaining myself well! I mean the Google position checking - It goes up and down alot and was just wondering if there is a way to see it over time without recording it daily.
Thanks, and sorry Megan.

See tobyfrost's second post, after mine - he's asking about SERP history, not PR history.

Yes, thanks Megan - my terminology is poor - does anyone know of a way to find my SERP history over time without having to record it daily? I currently try to record it daily but would appreciate a way to have it done automatically if nothing else!
Thanks
Toby

Google has finally crawled for page rank on the 25th night and I did benefit to a great extent. My pr for a couple of websites did increase .One had a pr of 3 which increased to 4 and one which didn't have a pr moved over to 2.Google had to do this as it faced severe criticism from all possible places about not crawling efficiently this particular year for PR updates compared to last year.So people who launched their websites this year or sometimes earlier are set to benefit as the next crawl will possibly be for backlinks followed by a combo crawl for PR and backlinks. Here is the link that explains all.

Little bit. Others are consistently not reading the discussion before posting! Or even your original question...

Google only update PR every 3 to 4 months so no need to update it daily. Anyway don't bother yourself think about PR just better work hard to gain lot of quality links from related sites to improved your rankings. It's important to improved rankings than PR.
