I have launched a site about 4 months ago. I had to wait some time for google to find the site.
It has been back on a number of occasions but refuses to crawl the site at all. The home page has been updated . I have validated the code with the w3c code validator so it isnt a code issue.
MSN now lists 300 pages and 9 inbound links. google has 2 links and 1 page! Yahoo has 2 different links and 1 page.
I wondered if the threshold is higher with google regarding the influence of in bound external links and therefore importance of the homepage is insufficient to force the spiders to crawl.
But if this is so and google/yahoo dont seem to want to find my in bound links how will this ever change!!!
any theories gratefully received
please help.

sometimes problems with titles can cause problems. Make sure you have a diffrent title on each page.

Yes, make sure you have a different title on each page. Each page has different content. Create different keywords for each page. I have done that and have already started seeing better results in google.

It might help if you could get a link to one of your deeper pages from another site - I haven't tried this myslef but understand that it does work, providing the link is from a page that is regularly indexed. Hope this helps.

You just have to accept that Google is much more reluctant to count pages, it is most likely through having all incoming links to your homepage and none to any of the others.
If you post a link to your site we could help you better.

Google does rank all of your pages, they just do not provide this info.
