I had 40 pages in google last week and this week, I have only 2 pages on my site that are listed. Is this normal behaviour that each week they forget what they had listed for you the week before?

This is a problem google developed recently. Here is a little blurb about it

Quote: This bug doesn't involve any pages being dropped from the index. It's the site: operator that isn't working properly. We're freezing all refreshes of the supplemental results until these issues are fixed, and things should be back to normal in a few days.

Indexed pages should be up soon.
