Hi

Does anyone know:

1. How to check if a website is banned from Google Search Results?
2. How to check if a website is banned from Google Search Results for some specific keyword?
3. When this Page Rank's Update is gonna be finished?

1. Type in site:yoururl.com. If there are no results you are banned or just not indexed.

2. You don't get banned for specific keywords.

3. Nobody knows...

At least I know when it has begun! (it was about a month ago!) SO the end is really really close... Cool

Not 100% sure but, why would Google take the time to ban you from a specific keyword(s)? If you are breaking a rule for one keyword Google will just ban you all together. If they can't trust you with one keyword, why would they trust you at all?

Google will definitely penalize a site with hidden texts sa keywords, or is diliberately repeating texts over and over on one site, meaning a higher keyword denisity will do you more harm than good if this is what you actually mean...

Judging from personal experience google does appear to penalize for specific keywords. I rather foolishly over optimised for a specific keyword and dropped down in the listings for that keyword though we still ranked high for many other very competitive keywords.

These are just my observations... it's possible there are other explanations for this phenonemom but that is how it looks from where I am.

I agree with you Mike, Google does penalize for specific keywords, but Google does not ban for specific keywords.

Exactly!

I think so too, thanks for sharing your experience.
