Google just updated its PR and backlinks!
I got one pr0 site up to pr4 and another pr0 to pr2. how was it for you? don;t think the pr is in the toolbar yet, it is at the datacentres though.

I've noticed some changes, for once Google has treated me nice and a site has gone up to PR6 and i haven't touched it for a year!

My site went from a PR0 to a PR5. I have no idea if it's the changes they made, or me, but Family Guy's official site is a PR6, and Planet Family Guy(really big!) is a PR4, so I'm very happy!

I've heard a of a lot of sites jumping from PR 0 to PR 5 or so - it's weird. I wonder what's up with that. It seems like a big jump in one update.

Actually, you're right, there are some weird things going on. Some sites i thought should of gone down in PR. For example there is one site which has no backlinks but it has retained PR4. Maybe there are some other factors involved now?

Geez, that's the second time all my sites have lost backlinks and PR. I gotta figure out what I'm doing wrong...

Yep, it has been indictaed that the update has 3 or 4 stages to it and it certainly is doing some odd things. Some sites have an index PR increase but inner pages have PR loss and others the other way round! Guess we'll have a to wait a bit longer for the full picture
