The Google SERP's are begining to make me nuts! Some of my high traffic key terms are showing SearchBliss on page 1 and 2 one day, then no where the next. It's constant shifting every three days, while other terms keep us moving up and down on page 1 (slight fluctuations). Was Matt Cutts telling the truth when he said something along the lines of "making everybody happy by rotating sites in the SERP's"???

So ok, your rankings are bouncing all over the place, so what? Why don't you make a chart with your rankings that lists the positions (or no position) each day, and then also list your unique visitors by day and see if those numbers also bounce around.
Unless you have your site so highly optimized for just a few keywords or phrases, I think you will find that your traffic does not fluctuate all that much. Of course I could be wrong, but I think people watch rankings are like some people watch the stock market every day. Yes, it will drive you nuts if you do that. I think the bottom line should be how much traffic are you getting and how many conversions.
Let me know what you find out?
