If I use a proxy server will my traffic, PR and serps increase?
If everytime I am on my own site it appears it is just someone then the hundreds of times a day I check stuff and upload etc will count as hits as opposed to just one.
Is that right?
Then it will appear that my site gets hundreds of hits a day.
Or this claim wrong.

No, it won't help. Sooner (more often) or later you get caught. Google monitors proxy servers...

Do they penalise?
Ignoring it is one thing but penalising is not what I want.
Claims that they cost you and make you pay, are they true?
I need to know for certain.
I noticed that they are counted as separate hits. Is that wrong then?
Thanks for your advice
