I submitted my site to Yahoo.ca and Yahoo, and luckily enough my site is three categories!

Congratulations Rob,
Some very strange things happen with Yahoo at times. I have submitted sites and they have been buried soooooo deep that you need diving gear to find them, then others seem to pop up everywhere, even under searches that they have no relevance to at all. Rules? What rules? LOL
By the way, did you get in for free?

When you submit to Yahoo, you suggest the category, right? Do you mean you can suggest the category and then find out they listed you under several others?
