I have done a few sites now and i can get them all listed on Yahoo but none of them will come up on google. I have links to my site which i know are crawled by google so i dont know what the problem is. My latest site is irishpokeronline.com , does anyone notice something i have done which would be preventing it from being listed on google?

YES !
Firstly i think your keywords have spaces before them ( i think this is bad, correct me if im wrong ?)
Secondly there are many other sites that have payed to get their sites at the top and you cant beet them unless you pay as well !

probably this is the problem. The Google Aging Delay Don't worry about keywords they are not specially important for rankings. For a gambling related site, don't hold your breath.

I have read the article you posted about the 'aging delay' and while it is interesting reading it still does'nt help me (i think). My problem is, my site isint getting listed at all. If i copy a few lines of text from my site and then do a search it doesnt bring up any sites at all, but if i do this in yahoo it brings up just my site.
Can anyone help me with this, its driving me mad. Im having to pay for google adwords as a result.

Sounds like your site may be in the Google Sandbox. How old are your sites?

Precisely, I have two sites in a similar position, one is just starting to appear and disappear now, launched Sept 2004 and several hundred pages in MSN and Yahoo. Google indexed and ranked over 300 pages initially then dropped them all after 6 weeks.
The other has been up a little over three months. No problems with Yahoo & MSN, With Google it was crawled, and ranked within 3 weeks, now gone. same kind of pattern as the earlier site.

I don't think Google even considers keywords and I have always used spaces first and I don't think it has been a problem. So it's not that!

Maybe they arent listing new sites quickly so that you are forced to use (and pay for) Google AdWords.
