I hope the admin doesn't mind me posting here but we're looking for a few people to test / get involved with The Bot Project (www.thebotproject.com).
There's more information on the site but to save you clicking and wasting time :
"The Bot Project is about webmasters working together to learn more about search engine bot activity.
A central database is updated each time robots.txt is accessed. The details of the bot are then recorded and available to the webmaster.
The summarised data is then published on this website for all webmasters to get a better understanding of search engine bot activity."
So it's a bot tracker basically. We think it's interesting - if you do to and want to get involved please do sign up.
