My websites are not being indexed in Google!! They used to be indexed but now only the hompage is being index. Below is what I've done:

1) Build the websites (4 sites) in Frontpage (.htm files): After some time these pages got indexed and we got PR 3.

2) I changed design and updated the websites in Dreamweaver (I didn't realize that automatically the pages were saved as .html files): However, fairly quicky all the pages were indexed (as html)

3) Now, however, Google are not indexing any of the new pages anymore, except the homepages. Also it has started to index a few of the old (.htm) pages, that does not exist anymore.

4) I created a Google Sitemap for each of the 4 pages to help Google index my pages. Google reported no errors in the sitemap. We have now not been index for more than 2 weeks.

Therefore, ADVICE IS VERY MUCH APPRECIATED!!!!!
• Anyone knows what I can do?
• How long time does it take for Google to add pages according to Sitemap?
• Should we resubmit to Google?
• Do we need robot txt file on the server -would it help?
• Some way to 'remove' the old pages (.htm) from Google memory?

getting as many back links to your website as you can will help in a big way.

i also find that if you add pages then do a masive page website change or upgrade so all the pages change, google index more pages, but this might be me it has happend twice on two of my sites

You could use google sitemaps to ensure that the robot visits all pages.

NB: the google index rarely shows all pages, as it does not show all inbound links either

some people find themselves dropped completely from the index for a time then resubmitted.

Do a google sitemap.

All read the webmaster guidelines in google faqs to find out whether there are any issues with your website why it wont rank.

Yes please feel free to have a look at me meta tags. My websites are the ones you see in my signature.

I have submitted to Google a long time ago. And got all the pages indexed and PR. Then changed web design and didn't realize the pages then was saved as .html (as oppossed to the old ones being .htm). However, the new pages (.html) got indexed almost immediately. The problem is not now the new pages (.html) are not being indexed by Google anymore, and some of the old pages (.htm) are indexed.

I have already made Google sitemape as well as redirected the old pages, so I really have no idea what's going on?
