Both my new sites, getting from PR0 to PR3 in less than 3 week after launching. And I have more than 20 keywords top rank top 10 position. Here is a quick guide of what I did to make this happen:
1) Search engine submission to google, yahoo, msn, etc.
2) Directory submission.
3) Public relation. I joined few forums, and put my site on the signature.
4) Place this site URL to my other site footer.
5) Join link exchange.
Couple hour a day on the new site, wahlaa… PR3. Indeed I have 2 other site that scores PR2 in the almost same period. It works for me.
I was previously begging to know how to get PR fast, can’t find a good tips. Here I experience it, and hope this might be useful for those that look for fast PR for new site.

This is exactly what i'm dooing at the moment, hard work though. But i think in the end up it's definitely worth it...
But i'm still on PR 1

Thanks for letting us know what worked for you! The big challenge is coming next though - it's a lot harder to get up to 6 or higher!
And, of course, it's iportant to focus on your SERP's first rather than PR, which is not always an accurate measure of how you're doing. Sorry, couldn't post without saying that

Yeah that is true as the PR is just a mere number given by Google and nothing else, what actually matters are the search results that your site will be getting.
Well charlesgan good to know about your sites,, apart from what you are doing right now for getting a more decent PR you can also post comments on different high PR blogs as well as get into some article submission also, will be much helpful.
