Hi Everyone, I love reading the forum to learn from the best...

My problem(s) are: I look after a few sites, at present and I'm still learning. I just can't get traffic to the sites, some of the sites have been up and running since the beginning of the year. I have been submitting the sites to search engines, but, still nothing... What is wrong with the sites??

aonerealty.com.au/index.html
excitingdatesnow.com/
smbusinessmarketingsuccess.com/

Thanks for any help...

In order you listed them

aonerealty.com.au
has layout issues, doesn't look professional, has dead ends/links (ie mailform page), is country related, made with frontpage.
page rank = 3

excitingdatesnow.com
no content, uses re-construction pages, has spaces in links, broken images (made with microsoft office - a no no)
page rank = 0

smbusinessmarketingsuccess.com
looks like spam page, has layout issues, has bad code (dont use html tags in meta tags) and things like height="1628%"
page rank = 0

None of the sites have any real content, 2 of the 3 are more affiliate links which send people away from your site, so really you are doing what you want, sending people away. Ideally you want to build the sites up with content then add affiliate links/adverts otherwise people just see someone trying to make a quick buck and nothing else. You have to ooze professional so people trust you/your site. Your dating site for example. ebooks on a dating site? then you go to the dating reviews page, the first thing you get are affiliate banners sending you to other dating sites, ok orginally I thought this was a dating site then realised it's a dating site review site. As most pages are under re-construction the only pages that work contain affiliate links to a very small group of dating sites, it just sings link farm.
If you must do the link farm at least throw in 50% legite dating sites reviews, don't try trick people, thats even worse but truly offer a real service instead of just trying to earn a quick buck

Some people are like slinkies, they dont really serve any purpose but they still bring a smile to your face when you push them down the stairs ...

Definately agree with Busy on his points. The sites are very spammy, maybe you ought to consider sending spam e-mails out to millions of people. Those are the typical tactics sites like yours employ. I don't really see a way you can market these sites to Search Engines in a legitimate manner. SEO relies on unique content, all I see here is spam, and there's plenty of that around the Internet.

This won't work, you need incoming links to get SE's to find you. Google Page Rank - for instance - is based upon your incoming links.

Lastly, if the marketing techniques on: smbusinessmarketingsuccess.com are so good, why haven't you converted your business from zero visitors to 1,000,000?

i have viewed your second site smbusinessmarketingsuccess.com. it is a very long page with a lot of gaps. needs continuous scrolling and is also taking a long time to load.
better break it up into more pages based on subtopics etc..

target your sites for some keywords and optimise them for those keywords. build links and then search engines start giving good ranks to your sites and slowly your sites will be getting more traffic.
