If you use a banner company to display your site's ads, tell us what is the lowest CPM you'll allow to run on your site and why. Do you accept CPCs? What banner company do you use?

I use BURST!Media and the lowest CPM I will accept is $1 for above-the-scroll 468x60 banner ads. I will accept anything, really, for buttons and below-the-scroll spots. As for CPC, I won't accept them.

Lowest I'd accept If I had the choice of displaying the banner ad with the CPM, or not displaying the banner ad at all would be $0.75

Sorry for my ignorance, but could someone please tell me what CPM and CPC stand for? Just out of cuirosity - I don't have any ads on my sites right now (okay, well I do, but it's going to be gone as soon as I get the new design up this weekend)

CPM = Cost per 1000 banner views e.g. $1.00
CPC = Cost Per Click - e.g. $0.05

Update:

When my banner company reported I served 9 out of 11000 impressions one day, I knew I had to be a little less picky with CPM ads. I have decided to lower my minimum rate to $.50 from $1. I still won't accept many CPC ads, but I've got to be more flexible with CPM ads.
