I started http://www.cashcolumns.com. It seems like an awesome idea. If it gets enough attention through online media, blogs, articles, and press releases etc, the buzz should cause lots of traffic. This will cause people to buy top ad spaces and also drive traffic to the customers websites.
Some people seem to think it's a "pyramid scheme", but I disagree, pyramid schemes consist of nothing but sending money. This website has a product - the advertising space, which is supposed to drive traffic to customers websites (not much unlike the million dollar homepage).

I don't see any content on that page, it's just a header and navbar. If it's anything like that site referenced in the previous post then I still wonder why in the world any humans would visit the site and click on ads. Sounds like a good idea for advertisers until you start thinking about where the traffic is coming from.
Lots of people tried to make their own "million dollar hompages" or other such schemes. It didn't work. People don't want to visit sites just to look at ads. The only exception would be if you could get really interesting, high quality, well designed, unique advertisements that are interesting as design examples in themselves. But even then you're just drawing people who are interested in the design, not the product being advertised.
