hi guys,
well am just looking for some ideas for unconventional methods to improve ur sites' ranking in SEs and stay on top....
everyone knows what google wants, what yahoo likes etc etc....
I am just thinking above than links submiting, meta text, titles, PPC advertising etc to increase traffic...
RSS and blogs are the buzz words today... but how to use them effectively???not every site can provide daily updated contents to put in blogs and feeds... what method should sites like those adopt???
Just think over that... Cant we have some unconventional Guerilla Mkting techniques that very few can think and implement!!
Please present ur views regarding this..

Unconventional, huh? You could always put something weird or quirky on your site and try to get a site like Fark and others to link in to it.

Give a six pack of beer to everone that visits your site, and e-mails you.

Apparently if you register for google answers (that's the Q and A part of google - post a question and put a fee of $ for someone to answer it) and reply to some of the questions (for free as google don't want anymore researchers) and include your subject line it may tend to pop up in the top 10 results for good keywords.
Google must like using its own Questions and answers as they tend to be of high quality.
That said, if you look like you're spamming you'll be banned so it might be a bit dodgy. Heard that it works off of some other people, not tried it myself.
Anyone else heard of this?
