I have been getting recently strange referers from live.com from people searching very competitive top keywords, that are not even related to my websites. ex: mp3, roulette etc
These appear to be very rare, and the referer link I get is not working, I get error. ex:
http://search.live.com/result.aspx?q=roulette&mrt=en-us&FORM=LVSP
can somebody explain what is this, has anybody experienced something similar?

We don't have the same problem, but to be honest Live.com accounts for very little of our search referrals. My guess is that the search engine is rubbish if it's referring to subjects that have no relation to your site!

This is actually very common. The MSN/Live Search engine has done this many many times. Like Jeeves said. Rubbish

This type of behaviour is not limited to only MSN, but i do get referrals from even Google and Yahoo. When i click the referral link, my site doesn't appear even in the sorrounding pages.

I've had the same issue. Does anybody know what causes this?
