I noticed something weird. After I search for my site in Google using the "site:your-site.com" query, G's little spiders would come on by, right away. I've done some testing with this, it may be coincidence, it may not be, but doing this got my one site indexed faster. Anyone else notice this? Am I barking up the wrong tree?

I have noticed this as well. Who knows what and why Google does anything...

We discussed this in another thread, and it appears to work. Did you have any links pointing to your site from other sites, that could have caused it?
