Never bought or sold anything on zshops or amazon auctions but looked into it. It seemed to be OK.

I see two resons to boycott amazon:
1. their patent and lawsuit against bn.com for using a "one click" purchase system. Meaning, that no one can sell something online without asking if their order is correct, except for amazon. (I think I got that right)
2. amazon was trying to patent their affiliate system. that would mean that all the websites on the net who give credit or money in referals (i.e. "get your friend to sign up with our host and make 10%") would have to pay loyalties to amazon.
The company uses what one could say are "microsoft" tactics...

rich i agree with u on the microsoft tactics,amazon is the darling of the net companies that will continue to do well when all others have been washed away.and for one company to think that they can just dominate and pre -determine what users want is a bad thing and can stifle innovation.
