Hello

I would like peoples opinions on safelists, i dont know much about them yet to be honest, has anyone used free safelists? can you recommend any decent sites for this, i realise i can end up with a ton of unwanted emails from the, but i could setup an email account specifically for this i guess.
Id like to know your views on this, good and bad.

Thanks guys

Safelists are a bad idea in my opinion. You ned targeted leads, people who want your service/product. Safelists only make money for the owner. DOn't bother. Look at google adwords, overture.com etc.

I have had some success with free safelists. The main thing to remember, people will be looking at hundreds of messages as they are deleting them (they are hardly ever read) so your only chance at getting attention is your subject line. It has GOT to catch their attention or they are gone.
Try a few different ones if you don't get any response.

You will also want to set up a seperate email account for the "list" emails or it will flood your main account.

Hope that nelps.

Hi LynnH

Yeah ive setup a gmail account specifically for receiving the floods of emails from them, i agree with you about the fact that most people will delete without even reading them, il have to come up with a decent subject line, even if safelists help me just a little i will be happy. Thanks for replying
