what is a reciprocal link? It got me sooo confuddled. i know I knew before but it must of wiggled its way out of my mind like all my other knowledge is slowly doing.

A reciprocal link is when you and the other person, trade links.
So you have a link to his site, and he has a link to yours.

I think this term is used rather than exchange because it's between two companies/people/sites and link/banner exchanges tend to be en mass and detrimental in some cases.
