I would like to start a reciprocal linking system for my Realty site (jcri.com), where I would place a link to another Realty site on my site as long as they place a link back to me on theirs. I have come accross some software packages that automize this. These include Axandra's Arelis , Dynamic Link Promoter and Alink. I would like to know if anyone has used any of these programs, which is the best? are there any better ones out there? or is there a better way to do this without this software? I would idealy want the entire process automized, where someone fills out a form receives some code with a link to my site to place on their site, then once I receive notification that they have placed my link, I will then go ahead and place a link to their site on mine. Sorry if this is confusing. It's hard to put into words.

Griffy,

If you are looking for a set it & forget it solution you might want to look into something more like WSN Links as all of the other you have listed require some amount of effort to use & maintain.
I have to say that IMHO the set it & forget it is not the best way to run a link campaign, you will end up with a lot of sites that have no relevance to either your site or your industry signing up, this will NOT help your search engine rating and may in some case hurt it. You should really make sure that the site that you choose to link with are relevant to the information contained on your site.

anyway just my 2¢ worth, hope the link is useful at least Wink

I'm not looking for a "set it and forget it" setup. I would like to manually put the links onto my site to maintain their relevence to the subject. The thing that I would like automatic is the sign up for linking partners. The link was interesting, I'm going to look into it some more. Thanks.

Personally i went with manual links. I do have plenty of hours a week to make sure all of my links work and the sites i linked to also work, I was just listed on google this last deep search so I feel the best way to control a small amount of links is personal emails. In my experiance mabye you should not go with related links but top links, i use the google search bar and any link that is 5+ rating i email them and ask to link.

There is now a ( very )new directory set up just for sites looking for someone to exchange links with. I wouldn't want to name it here but you wouldn't have to look far to find it Smiling
