I just got my first CJ check this week thanks to a sale of vBulletin from my site and I was wondering what your most successful merchants have been you are partnered with. In my copyright disclaimer on the footer of my sports community, I link to CJ's affiliate program with vB and that has been my most successful.

I'm just starting to use CJ now that they have a UK based office and pay in £s. I'll let you know what I find successful.

Yes you definitely do have to be 18 according to the sign up form. Couldn't you get one of your parents to sign up on your behalf? Where are you Danny? Besides at your computer desk?

I don't see why not, they would have to fill in their details and then they would get the payments and have to pass them on to you. The only problem comes if they need to declare the earnings to the Inland Revenue but I'm sure that most people who put affiliates on their personal sites don't bother doing that.

Eskater05, why would you need a credit card to signup? I've been a member for a few years and it hasn't been that way to my knowledge.

Now this is something I checked at my local bloodsuckers cave (Inland Revenue
) If you earn money from a site beit affiliate, advertising, whatever, Mr Tax Man aka Dracula regards you as self employed. He then insists you have to compile an annual tax return in quadruplicate whilst dancing across red hot coals singing the theme tune to the dambusters whilst juggling with three hamsters...
In short, if you earn money, he wants some. But is it worth it for a few $'s/£'s each month? The taxman thinks so as apparently they can fine you big style for it. It begs the question though, how the hell they gonna find you amongst the other 234,763,568,287,997 other sites out there???
PS - Mr Taxman - The dracula thing was a joke
and I have NEVER earnt a red cent from my site....honest....
